Blog #51--Everyone Is Beautiful

We constantly compare our physical appearance with those around us. We go to expensive extremes to make ourselves look more attractive to potential mates and to compete with our peers for attention. Corporations selling expensive clothing, makeup, shampoos, styling gels and other personal care products make many billions of dollars catering to our ego’s desire for beauty.

But in reality we are far more beautiful than our mirror image represents. No matter our physical appearance, clothing preferences, status in our community, skin color, religion, politics, police record or degree of selfishness, we all have beautiful auras. Our eyes don’t usually see auras, but we all have them. My wife and I took more than 5000 aura photos of our customers at Insight Bookstore, and EVERY person had beautiful colors swirling around and through them.

I mentioned some of the basics of aura photography in my book “It’s a Secret, So Pass It On: a Toolbox For Life.” We all have energy centers called chakras which are responsible for various aspects of our daily lives. There are seven main ones, and each corresponds to a color of the rainbow.

The root chakra grounds and protects us and is represented by red, the color of vitality. The second chakra is found in the lower abdomen and has an orange color. It represents creativity, sensuousness and reproduction. The third chakra is located near the navel and is yellow. “Gut feelings” are associated with this energy center. Power and intellect are also aspects of the yellow color.

Green is the balanced middle color and represents the heart (pink is also sometimes associated with the heart). The fifth chakra is at the base of the throat, is light blue and deals with all aspects of communication. The sixth chakra is also called the third eye because it is located at or near the pineal gland within the brain. When activated, one experiences deep feelings and intuitive flashes. Purple is the color of the seventh chakra, which rises up out of our heads and connects us with the cosmos. It represents spirituality and mysticism.

Our overall auras change frequently. We can see that on an aura photo because energy enters the body on the left side and exits on the right side. The color seen surrounding our head at any moment in time represents our current perspective. The color on our left side is our immediate future, and the color on the right represents our immediate past. To a person, those receiving aura photos confirmed that their mental states coincided with the colors found on their aura photos.

People who are connected to their higher selves at the time of their photographs will have white auras. White is all colors united together. Some believe the color white is limited to spiritual masters, but nothing could be further from the truth. We have seen people from all backgrounds and walks of life expressing white auras at the time of their photos. This includes known criminals and liars. We are all closer to our higher selves than we realize or wish to profess.

It is amazing how many people fear they have black auras simply because they have been taught to believe they are somehow out of favor with their creator. Self-doubt, illness and fear may limit the brilliance of our aura colors, but we still have beautiful colors swirling around us. Black would be beautiful also, but it was never once found on any of the photos we took.

Most of us cannot see auras on a regular basis, although techniques can be learned to help improve our visualization. Just because we don’t see them doesn’t mean they aren’t there. Our eyes see within a narrow band of light frequencies. We miss much of the infrared and ultra violet ranges. Many animals and other species see or otherwise sense auras better than us.

However, colors are energy vibrations, and we can and do feel the vibrations of others in our vicinity. For instance, all of us have a personal territory we wish to keep safe from predation. If someone comes too close to us without an invitation, we feel uncomfortable and seek to create more distance between us and the offending person. In these cases, we are feeling their auras attempting to overlap ours. If we are not attracted to them, too much closeness can produce negative reactions, like two magnets repelling one another.

Of course, strong attractions allow a partial or complete sharing of aura energies, and these feelings can be both measurable and highly pleasurable. We also feel auras that are more expansive than average; we are often drawn to them as well. We pick up on a person’s energies before anything else. We may not be consciously aware of auras, but we can still experience them secondarily by studying our reactions toward them.

Whole books have been written on this subject, and I encourage those with interest to check out one or more of these fine references. Regardless, know for certain you are beautiful, as beautiful as anyone else in the world.
